Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
Effective: October 2026 · Reviewed annually
Helix Apps LLC, including its Treyci business, does not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in its operations or supply chain. This policy is reviewed every year.
1. Purpose and scope
This policy sets out how Helix Apps LLC ("the Company") prevents modern slavery and human trafficking. Modern slavery includes forced, bonded or compulsory labour, child labour, servitude, deceptive recruitment and human trafficking. The policy applies to the Company's owner, employees, contractors and anyone acting on its behalf, and sets the standard the Company expects of its suppliers.
2. Our commitment
The Company will:
- act ethically and with integrity in all business relationships;
- comply with applicable laws, including the US Trafficking Victims Protection Act, the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and Florida labour law, and support customers' obligations under laws such as Australia's Modern Slavery Act 2018 and the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015;
- pay everyone who works for it at least the legal minimum wage, on time, under written terms they understand;
- never charge workers recruitment fees, hold their identity documents or restrict their freedom to leave;
- engage only workers who are legally permitted to work and at least 18 years old.
3. Our business and supply chain
The Company is a small professional-services and software business based in Port St. Lucie, Florida. It provides AI search consulting and the Treyci software-as-a-service platform. All work is digital and done in office or remote settings; the Company does not manufacture goods, operate warehouses or use labour agencies.
Its supply chain is made up of:
- cloud and software providers: hosting, database, email, payments, source code and AI model providers;
- independent contractors, where engaged, under written agreements;
- standard office technology, such as computers and phones bought from major retailers.
4. Risk assessment
The Company assesses its modern slavery risk as low. Its direct workforce is small, US-based and engaged on written terms. Its main suppliers are large technology companies, most of which publish their own modern slavery statements or human rights policies. The highest residual risk lies upstream in the manufacture of electronic hardware, which the Company addresses by buying from established manufacturers and retailers that publish supply chain standards.
5. Due diligence and supplier requirements
The Company takes steps proportionate to its size and risk:
- Before engaging a new material supplier, it checks that the supplier publishes a modern slavery statement, human rights policy or supplier code of conduct, or otherwise commits to lawful labour practices.
- Contractor agreements require compliance with applicable labour, anti-slavery and anti-trafficking laws, and allow the Company to end the engagement if they are breached.
- It prefers suppliers with recognised security and compliance practices, such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 for technology providers.
6. Monitoring compliance
The Company keeps a register of its material suppliers and reviews it at least once a year, checking that each still meets Section 5 and noting any public reports of labour or human rights concerns. The Managing Member reviews this policy, the supplier register and any concerns raised in the annual review, and records the outcome.
7. Reporting concerns
Anyone who suspects modern slavery or human trafficking connected to the Company, its suppliers or its customers should report it to support@treyci.io. Reports are treated confidentially and nobody will suffer retaliation for raising a concern in good faith. Where a concern is credible, the Company will investigate, act to remedy it, suspend or end the relationship where needed, and report to the relevant authorities. Anyone can also contact the US National Human Trafficking Hotline on 1-888-373-7888.
No cases of known or suspected modern slavery, and no related claims or adverse media, have been identified in the Company's operations or supply chain to date.
8. Responsibility, review and approval
The Managing Member of Helix Apps LLC is responsible for this policy, for making sure everyone working for the Company understands it, and for its annual review. The policy will also be updated if the Company's business or supply chain changes materially.
